This is a heavy, well-made vintage chair that has recently been fully restored including repainting and the seat webbing replaced and recovered. It is very sturdy with all high-quality materials used in its restoration.
The seat sits at 20.5" high and has been covered in a high-quality, high-value fabric reproduced by Waverly for the Williamsburg Foundation. It is an antique print called "Dunmore Dragons" in onyx.
The paint is matte with a satin finish. It is not high-gloss.
